who are we?
Sweet Nothings are the University of Exeter's all-female, contemporary a cappella group. This year will mark our 8th year of performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and we couldn't be more excited! In the last few years alone, we have placed 4th in the 2020 ICCA UK finals, had a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2021, and released our own EP. Despite the challenges set on us by COVID-19, we were able to place 4th in our most recent ICCA competition in Exeter, only having rehearsed once all together as a society. We are a determined, strong-willed and passionate group who are excited to showcase our arrangements, choreography and script at the Fringe Festival this year.
Where will the money go?
The money raised will go towards taking our show, "Sweet Nothings Present: A Night at the Movies", to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer. After our sell-out run in 2021, we are keen to replicate this success in 2022, and with the help of your donations, this will be possible. With the donations that we receive, know that the money will go towards publicity and hiring microphones for our show. It will also give us the freedom to make more expressive choices to truly show our potential! Every donation counts and we're looking forward to showing you all what we can do!
By donating to us, you will also receive a reward as a thanks for your support
Rewards vary by donation:
£5 - A thank you card, signed by us!
£10 - A thank you song!
£25 - A video of us singing a song of your choice from our show!
£40 - A thank you card, a thank you song and a song of your choice from our show!
