Who We Are
We are Illuminations, a mixed contemporary A Cappella group from the University of Exeter. We have consistently performed at the highest level of A Cappella, reaching the ICCA UK finals twice in three years, and releasing two music videos, amassing tens of thousands of views. We made our television debut on Sky One's Sing: Ultimate A Cappella, organised a successful UK tour, and have taken four shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support from those who listen to our music. Illuminations relies on generous donations to do what we do, and we are asking for your support after an especially tough year for the group. Being unable to meet throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has affected us especially hard, and we are so excited we get the chance to top off the year with a festival as legendary as the Fringe, but we need your help to make it happen.
Where will the money go?
1) Fringe
Taking a show to the Fringe is a mammoth task, and it takes a lot of money to make it happen. Usually, we would raise money through busking and paid performances, but we have been unable to do this due to COVID-19. Any funds raised will go towards venue hire, travel, accommodation, and Fringe expenses such as flyers for our show and hiring microphones. Our target for this fundraiser is £1500, which would help us hugely with the bigger costs of our fringe show.
2) EP
In the event that the Fringe is cancelled again this year, the money will go towards our upcoming EP! We're going to be recording four songs to be released on Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes. To get the sound of these songs to the highest possible quality, we're paying to get these songs professionally mixed, mastered and put onto major streaming platforms. Your donations can help us do that!

£5 or more, you’ll receive a thank you on our Facebook page.
£15 or more, the group will thank you in a short, personalised video.
£30 or more, you’ll receive a thank you card signed by all the members of the group.
£70 or more, you’ll receive an Illuminations T-shirt or cap to wear at the fringe!
£150 or more, we’ll record a personalised version of one of our current arrangements.
£300 or more, we’ll arrange and perform any song of your choice!
All donations will also receive rewards from lower tiers. For example, if you donate £70, you would also receive the rewards from the £5, £15 and £30 tiers!
Events
