Logic Contract Services Ltd v Trustee Fire and Security Match to raise funds for Neonatal Diabetes

Logic and Trustee Fire and Security are joining together to raise £1000 in support of the neonatal diabetes testing facility at Exeter hospital, who are aiming to raise £100,000. Exeter are world-leading experts in neonatal diabetes research. The testing facility provides a simple blood test which diagnoses the particular subtype of neonatal diabetes and identifies babies and children who will benefit from a much cheaper and less invasive treatment by switching from insulin injections to tablets.

Their capacity for testing at Exeter for this rare condition is ten times that of any other facility in the world. Sadly, their funding is coming to an end and they urgently need to raise money to enable this life-saving testing to continue and help children around the world.

Director of Logic Contract Services, Ryan Salmon, has had personal experience of the amazing work done at Exeter Hospital. His daughter was born with neonatal diabetes, fortunately she was diagnosed within weeks of birth and has been able to lead a fairly 'normal' life with minimal effects from this condition, however we understand this is not the case for everyone. These tests were vital to his daughter's quick diagnosis, it is urgent that we support Exeter hospital in raising funds to be able to continue with this life-saving testing for those who wouldn't be able to access it otherwise.
