Established for the future of the club, the Exeter University Rugby Club Alumni Network gives alumni, friends, and supporters the opportunity to stay connected to rugby at Exeter and to directly support today’s student-athletes where it matters most.
EURFC has a proud rugby tradition built on commitment, camaraderie, and performance, and alumni support will play a vital role in sustaining that legacy. This initiative aims to strengthen the connection between past and present members of the club while providing reliable financial backing to help future-proof Exeter rugby for years to come.

Where your donations go
All funds raised go directly towards the development of Exeter University Rugby Club, supporting priorities identified by the student committee and coaching team. Your generosity helps cover the essential, often unseen costs that allow our teams to train, compete, and represent the University with pride. Supporters will be kept up to date on how their contributions are making a tangible difference to training quality, match-day experience, and the overall sustainability of the club.
Donations contribute towards:
- Rugby balls, ensuring high-quality, consistent sessions (£60)
- Contact kit such as tackle shields (£100), pads, and protective equipment to support safe and effective training
- Match and training kit, such as a single scrum sled (£1400)
- Transport to fixtures, including buses and other travel costs for away matches across the country
- Post-match food and nutrition, a crucial part of player welfare, recovery, and team culture (£750)
- Facility and pitch hire, supporting reliable access to training and match venues (£1000's)
- Coaching, enabling structured, high-quality rugby provision (£1000's)
Together, these contributions ensure that every player, from first-year beginners to senior squad members, have opportunity to develop, compete, and enjoy their rugby experience at Exeter.
Building a sustainable future
Supporters are encouraged to set up a monthly donation, with a suggested contribution of £10 per month. As the network grows, these regular contributions will form a dependable income stream that helps the club plan confidently for the future, invest in essential resources, and maintain high standards on and off the pitch. We also, however, would greatly welcome one off donations.
This initiative works alongside the student committee’s ongoing efforts to improve accessibility, strengthen financial sustainability, and reduce the cost of participation for students.
2025–2026 Fundraising Goal
For the 2025–2026 season, Exeter University Rugby Club aims to raise funds to support the increasing costs of competitive university rugby, with a particular focus on:
- Replacing and expanding training and contact equipment
- Supporting transport costs for an expanding fixture list
- Enhancing player welfare through improved post-match provision
Every donation made this year will directly support these goals, helping current players represent Exeter with pride while laying strong foundations for future generations.
