Who are we?
Welcome to Snowsports Exeter, where a community of over 1,200 members embark on thrilling ski trips, exploring the picturesque slopes of France and Andorra. After an exhilarating day on the mountains, our legendary après-ski gatherings foster camaraderie and lasting memories.
Our commitment extends beyond the love of snow; we engage in adaptive ski training, race training, and freestyle training around the Exeter area, fostering a diverse range of skills. Snowsports Exeter is not just about skiing; with a dedication to inclusivity, our club hosts engaging socials, making us the largest Athletics Union club on the Exeter campus. Our story
Snowsports Exeter holds the distinction of being the first university to establish an adaptive ski team, training every Friday and gaining immense popularity. Our commitment to this event is proven, as we've already secured £550 from our Fresh TraXs social in Welcome Week.
At the event there will be activities for everyone, including an adaptive skiing exposition, freestyle competition, and sledging. Your donation will play a vital role in covering the essential costs of the event, from snow and haulage to the fees for Jibworx and Event Exeter.
Anything raised in excess of our £5,000 target will go back to the Snowsports club to help us deliver more of these inclusive snow sports initiatives. Join us in fostering a more accessible and welcoming environment in the world of snow sports!
