The Icon is in chapel

We are absolutely delighted that the icon arrived with us during Lent and, after Easter, was put up in Chapel. We are hugely grateful to all who have helped to get it over from Ukraine, and - of course - to all who generously funded the project. The icon is even more beautiful than we imagined. 

The icon has been placed to the right of the altar, above the credence table and below our Elaine Goodwin piece. 

We will bless the icon in a festal Evensong on the Eve of the Ascension, Wednesday 8th May at 5pm. All our supporters are very warmly welcome to join us. If you are not able to make this date, do please pop into Chapel any time to admire the icon. It really does look wonderful.
