A short summary of our project

I'm aiming to raise £1,000 to fund Exeter Guild's Make a Difference Charity Week. From the 10th-16th November we will be hosting Make a Difference to raise as much money as possible for a variety of charities. But we need help with funding the advertising, the set up of our events, and to recognise the amazing work that the volunteers are doing!

Who are you?

I'm Rosie, the VP Activities for Exeter Guild 18-19 and I love how small gestures can go a long way to helping the local community. Make a Difference will be a great opportunity to give back to Exeter.

Your story

Make a Difference is all about giving to local and national charities. We have invited all 250 societies to put on fundraising events and we have invited a variety of local charities to encourage students to get involved. There will be guest speakers and exciting activities for students and staff, and the whole week will culminate in Children in Need! Your money will make this whole week possible, as it will help students run their events and get lots of students involved.

Where will the money go?

Your money will go towards advertising the event and helping students to run their activities. We will supply students with the equipment they need to run their events for free and to run a Children in Need Pudsey Party on the Friday.

We are planning to spend £300 on the Pudsey Party as we will have Children in Need related activities and merchandise.

The advertising for the week will include banners, flyers and posters alongside the online advertising.
