In 2019 I signed up to do my first half marathon in 2020, a year after my first daughter was born. As with most things in 2020, this was cancelled due to the pandemic, and when it was rescheduled in 2021 I had not long given birth to my second daughter! So I’m attempting it again this year, on Sunday 3rd April, and it will be a real challenge for me! 

I’m really hoping I can do this to raise money for University of Exeter Cancer Research. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. I’m not sure there is anyone who hasn’t been impacted by cancer, either directly themselves or through loved ones. The University of Exeter Cancer Research needs investment to help fund their research into early diagnosis so that more can be done to help people detect cancer earlier, meaning there is a better chance it can be treated. The University of Exeter is also important to me personally, as I met my fabulous husband there and made life long friends. Please support me if you can, and it will be the drive I need to get me over the finish line! Thank you x
