What We Want to achieve
The Evangelical Christian Union for the past 19 years has put on a carol service to tell the whole of Exeter the true meaning and message of Christmas. For many years we have spread the gospel to over 3000 at each carol service consisting of singing carols, hearing readings from the Bible and a Christmas message.
why is this important?
The Exeter Carol Service is a highlight of the calendar for both locals and students as it brings the community together. The carol service is one of the few events of the year that brings the community and the student population together. Additionally, as the student population we want to give something back to the community for having us in their city for nine months a year.
Where will the money go?
The money raised will be spent on renting St James' Park in order to accommodate the 3000 attendees of this carol service.
